We had a Pre-Race 11/10/07 to check out the track.

2 great layouts came about for the 1/10 Scale ShootOut!

2WD electric truck on the the "short track" ran laps in the 25.0 to 26.3 second range. Has a 90' front straight!

2WD Gas Truck ran a slightly larger layout and ran laps in the 35.2 to 36.0 second range. Has a 160' front straight!

Yes those are my times!!! Finished 1st in both classes!!!

Electric,

5 min qualifiers

6 min. A Mains

5 min. all other Mains.

Gas 5 min. qualifiers

Mains and bump ups depend on number of entries.

3 rounds of qualifiers for all classes

Trophys for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each class

T3/T4 Web Service will be giving a gallon of fuel to 1st and 2nd place in Gas truck.
Farmers Hobby Shop and Raceway will be giving a gallon of fuel to 1st in Monster truck.

Mist lifted, sun came out and Chef Kathy was cooking!!!!

The racn' was GREAT! And close!!! REAL trading paint!!!

Every time the track started to over dry (low traction) 'Mother Nature' would step up with a cloud and spritz the track!!!!

We are already making plans for 1/10 Scale Shoot Out 2008!!!!

The racers from Farmers Hobby Shop in Tampa will return to defend their 7 of 12 podiums.
